revit wall.jpgrevit wall error.jpgI am modifying a existing wall type: 90mm stud. When I add the "finish" on either side, I get this message: Extension Layers at the base of the wall must be adjacent. What does this mean???????

That´s probably because one (or more) of the layers in the wall style are unlocked... While in the wall properties, and the preview is set to "section", click "modify" and zoom into the bottom of the wall, click the horizontal lines at the bottom of each wall layer, and check if one (or more) of these are "unlocked" (the padlock)
Unlocked layers must be adjacent to one another :beer:Klaus Munkholm

I know its a workaround but if you unlock the center (structural) wall you will get the desired effect. You will notice in properties base offsets it sort of works on reverse.Last edited by mark b; February 7, 2011, 11:11 PM.Mark Balsom
