    Re - Concept mass - Reference Line from CAD

    Hi, I have imported a cad model, I am trying to make 3 sweeps along the 3 lines shown on the attachment (the profile can be seen on the left) How can I make a reference line along those 3 cad imported lines? I am unable to snap to the line and when I select the line to make reference or model line it just moves it to the set work plane. As you can see the lines are sloping both horizontally and vertically. I just need to trace over these lines and I cant figure out how. Im sure its something easy I am missing? Regards JP

    You can create an adaptive component that you can 'snap' to the path. The number of points required will be determined by the nature of the curve. (hard to tell from the image).
    Your AC can either be the path for your sweep or it can contain the profile as well.

      Turn on 3D snapping in the option bar and it works fine. But youll want to learn not to snap to CAD stuff.

        I was having trouble snapping to the path but I will split the cad lines up and try give it another go.
