    Slab Joint Visual Problem

    Hi,

    I created two depth different slabs and join Geometry.
    Then, a hidden line appears as attached.
    But on my colleague's screen (though used the same version ), the hidden line doesn't appear.
    I tested in another way is ... i try to do so in my current project then the hidden line doesn't show and when i open new file it appears.
    Could someone explain why?

          If you meam the image in "my" post, that is just standard RAC properties pallete, screen shot and highlighted with "snagit".

            I think he's using RST. Not sure if the properties are different in that version.

              My Solution

              Guys,
              thanks for your valuable answers.

              And I wanna share my experience in this issue.
              After playing a few view-related commands, i found a solution which is "VISIBILITY" problem.
              Let me explain in detail.

              When I join two depth-different slabs, it appears a hidden line at the joint showing there's a line below as in P1 photo in attachment.

              But in my frinend's project, the joint hidden lines doesn't appear as in P2 photo.

              The reason why is ...:
              The visibility setting as shown in P3 & P4 photos.
              As highlighted in P3, you will see that the option "Hidden" under FLOOR CATEGORY is checked , then hidden line is shown.
              In P4, the hidden line is not shown because the option "Hidden" is unchecked.



              Anyway, I really like this forum because we can share our exp each other.
