Gotta say I agree with Munkholm here. When it comes to security and stability upgrades, I think you can say it WAS broken, we just hadn't seen the ramifications yet. Bit of a bummer to have lost posts, but we are now so large and international that there probably really isn't a moment of the day or night when no one is posting and upgrades can be done cleanly. Maybe we will need to schedule downtime for upgrades in the future. Apple does it, and all it does is create rabid guessing about what it all means.
Which, I should clarify, is a good thing. Meaning we could have a little scheduled down time and I don't think it would be problematic.
