    Ceiling PLan

    Hi,
What is the use of ceiling pan other than for showing details in the ceiling plan (like lighting fixture details)?

    Regards,

I'll go out and a limb here and say....the ceiling heights.
Yep, that's what I'm going with.

A bit of a weird question... But besides ceiling fixtures, you can use one as a model/working view if you have stepped ceilings / bulkheads etc.

What about positioning the ceiling panels, placement of ventilation elements, heights of ceilings, any soffits, coves, and so on...
That being said: I rarely use them in my own projects, cause I can handle ceiling heights in section view and I rarely have anything other then a stucco ceiling at one height...
