Is it possible to have separate instance of doors if same model is copied twice (or more). I have same building in multiple places on the site and would like to tag each door as an individual door instance. How does Aaron handle this when linking multiple copies of same floor in multi-floor building?

Hi Twiceroadsfool,
Could you please expand more on this concept? I have different names for each instance of each link in my project and have named the doors within each link as you noted (i.e. x02...). However, when I run my door schedule, Revit will still consider each door as one and not separate the doors into each unit. The picture attached shows that I have tried only for Unit 1 Lower Level and Unit 2 Lower Level, and I left some unique door marks in Unit 2 Lower level instance. Door Tags.jpg

Right. It will list ever instance of door "x01." Now, in the bottom left where it says "fields to choose from" (where it says "Doors") move that select to File Link. Then you can also schedule "link name" or "file name."
Using link name, you put it as the column before mark. You end up with
1 x01
1 x02
1 x03
2 x01
2 x02
2 x03
If you don't want to see every link turn them off in visibility/graphics.
