    The Origin Point

What is the best way to model in Revit with respect to the origin? Having read through a variety of template creation musings it is frequently mentioned to create planes at the origin and go from there. When modeling - do you start with the origin at one corner, the middle or somewhere in between? Or is it more for coordination so everyone knows where to insert? I know CAD would freak out of things got too far from 0,0 - I assume Revit would as well.
