Rebar is shown on 3d views even though it is inside a concrete structure

I modeled floor slabs, from there I went to section views and placed Rebar in them. I had to make some changes and add more Rebar after that. I see that when I copy a rebar shape and paste it in another place using the 3D view, the rebar stays visible. If I copy and paste rebar using section views it doesn't do that. I would like for the rebar to not be visible in 3d view... Any suggestions, thank you kindly

When you model Rebar it has a property to show unobstructed. Click on the Rebar then in the properties box go to "View Visibility Status" then scroll through and make sure the view unobstructed is unchecked in the view that you are seeing the bars in.

This option defaults checked in view that you model/originally place a piece of rebar in.
