    Printer/Scale problem

    Hi,
I am having trouble with my scale and title block. I am printing to a 30x42 horizontal page. When I print I have to set it to "center" the page and "zoom 100%" in the printer setup. This makes the scale accurate, but the title page off the paper. When I set it to "fit to page", this makes the scale wrong and the title block fine..can someone help me correct this? Thank you.

This can often be a wayward line/element/annotation/text that is somewhere off to one side.
On your sheet view, press ZA for zoom all. If the whole thing does not centre itself and take up nearly all of the view, then you will have to find this little errant piece. That's a pretty simple procedure, whichever side of the view contains empty space contains the little bugger. Some windowing finds it.
    Once bitten.
Then again, it could be something else:.:
Oh, and welcome by the way, it's a great place.

Thanks for the quick response and the welcome. I did think it might be that originally, but its not. Something else at play here that I have been racking my brain to figure out and just cant seem to. I don't know why the scale gets changed when I change a setting in the print setup. Anyway if you think of anything else...

If you have anything outside the boundary of the titleblock page it won't print correctly..Try selecting everything and see if the selection boxes go outside of your titleblock...

Hi Michael..I don't know how to select all, but I did manually search all around and I don't see anything..That was my first thought so I have been looking. Thank you though.

                Mina,
the problem could also be in the title block itself. Even lines drawn as (Invisible) will impact the printing. The quickest way to check that is to just create a brand new sheet with a title block on it, but don't add any views or anything. Print that and see what happens. If the scale is still off, the problem is in the title block family.

                    Hi Gordon,
I can only print at the office on the large scale printer so I wont know until tomorrow. But if I'm not supposed to add a view, how will I know if the scale is off? Forgive me if I'm stating the obvious, but I'm just not seeing it.
