Saw this on the other site, experimented and refined to suit myself and thought others might be interested.
Actvate view and Deactivate view is something I use a lot.
So I have set my Keyboard shortcut for Activate View to ZZ (simple and handy for me) also I have made Deactivate View the same ZZ, so the one shortcut key works as a toggle. Nice and simple and only one shortcut key used.
This works for lots different things within Revit. eg..
I have set up AA (once again handy for me) to toggle between "Reveal Hidden Elements" and "Close reveal Hidden Elements" and QQ for "unhide Element" and "Unhide Catagory". So very quickly activate , unhide and devactate with only two shortcut keys.
And there are quite a few more toggle type tools to explore.
