Revit to Navisworks - Preferred file format and why

What is your preferred file exchange to bring Revit models into Navisworks and "Why":
    • NWC via the Navisworks Addin's plugin
    • 3D DWF or DWFx (Design Review format)
    • 3D DWG (3D AutoCAD file with custom layer mapping)
    • IFC
    • Other

This is coming about as of the following workflow issues which have been determined here: DWFx Crash - AUGI

    Cheers

      Ditto.

Why? Because it's native (to Navisworks) and we can - I wish the answer were more technical, but as it is, that's how/why we do it.
