Shared Families
What is the importance (or relevance) of setting the Family Parameters to Shared? Does it only come into play when you nest Families or is there other factors that come into play? Thanks in advance.

Shared parameters are used to allow scheduling and exporting of data to work consistently so long as the same shared parameters are used in all families.
In family categories there is an option to make a family shared. What this does is when you are switching out families via a family types parameter is it allows shared and hardcoded parameters that have the same name between nested shared families to share the values of parameters in the main family.
