    can not join roof (error) ?!

    Hi, i have error when joining roof although i follow the right process , What is the wrong ?

    I've had that happen a few times. I can't remember exactly how I fixed it. Make sure your eave heights are the same and the ridge of the smaller roof isn't above the ridge of the main roof and see if that helps.

    I'd probably do that as one roof anyway.

      The different eave heights shouldn't matter... But yah, unless the two roofs are in different phases, you could attempt to make it as a single roof, even though, I'm pretty certain that you'd get a odd connection, where the different eave heights meet up.

      Post a stripped down version of the project, if you haven't solved it by now.

          try double checking the type of cut that the rafters have, and make sure they are the same either both plumb, two cut square or two cut plumb. I think this in addition to the other suggestions should fix the problem
