    Formatting of Length Shared Parameters

I am in the process of remaking my Doors and associated tags, schedules, etc.

One of the things I'm tweaking is an egress tag. When I made it before I had three parameters visible - occupant load, available width, required width. Somehow I was able to get the required width to display in decimal inches. Now I want available width to display the same but have no idea how I did it before.

One thing that's different this time is that I'm calculating the available width directly in the door family where before I calculated it in the schedule but I don't see how that makes a difference.

When I load this tag into my project and connect the shared parameters to my door the available width comes in as fractional inches. I want it display decimal inches.

    Help?

Edit the family....Edit the Label...select the label under Label Parameters then select the "Edit parameters Unit Format" button below the table (finger pointing to #) and uncheck "Use project settings" and select what you want it to be...
