adding other disciplines to sheet list

This should be an easy one -
Is it true that the way to add Civil, MEPS, and or Fire Protection drawings to my sheet list is to create dummy sheets for them?
I don't mind doing this, it gives me control over them in the sheet list that will ultimately appear on the cover sheet.
But is there a better way?

    No, this is it.

You might also look into "Placeholder Sheets" to possibly make things easier.

prior to 2011, a lot of people used to use key schedules as a way to display consultants' sheets. i've still been using this method after 2011 came out but this placeholder sheet thing seems to work pretty good now that i just looked up how to use it.

This is assuming- of course- that you dont have consultants models. If you do, you can tell the sheet list to Include Elements from Linked Files.

The placeholders work... as a faster way to make multiple sheets at once, but youll HAVE to make the sheets... Unless you dont ever need to have a revision issued from a consultant. You cant revise a placeholder sheet.
