    Angular Dimensions acting like linear dimensions (up-down, left-right only)

    For some reason, when i use the dimensioning function, I click on "aligned" and it only gives me an "up-down" or "left-right" axis ( when I am looking at the page) to measure from instead of a point (for which I can make angled dimensions). I thought that was only for linear dimensions.

    Why is my aligned dimensions not working at angles?

    Are you tabbing to select the endpoint? Aligned dimensions will stay perpendicular to whatever face or line you choose. So, if you choose the face of a wall instead of tabbing to get the endpoint, it won't be angled. Does that make sense? It's easier to see than it is to explain. Both dims in the attached example were done with aligned dimensions.

    Can you post a screen shot of what you are trying to dimension?
