We have two offices, approx 300 miles apart.
Office C has a network drive we call F:\
Office R has a network drive they call F:\
Both F:\ drives are not on the same server.
Office C will map to Office R's network drive and call it R:\
Office R will map to Office C's network drive an call it ???:\ <-- I really don't know what they map it to.
Some projects are started in Office C. Some are started in Office R. We're having issues with users in both offices, working on the same Workshared file. Linked Consultant's files are constantly being unloaded (probably because of the drive names/paths being all out of sync.)
Anybody else work this way? Have a method that works?
