    Elevation Marker in elevation view?

Trying to do something here and I'm not sure if it's possible. Can you somehow put an elevation marker into an elevation view? For example, if you were looking at a North Elevation view, could you put in markers pointing at the sides of the building, referring to the East and West Elevations?

You may say that this is overkill and not necessary (frankly, I agree) but my boss likes to over-annotate things and this is what he wants to show. Any ideas on how to do this without just using a dummy elevation marker?

You could just use sections instead of elevations.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say.............No. It's not possible because you don't tag the sides of elevations!

I thought of the section thing, but it will only let you reference sections and drafting views (I'm pretty sure). You can't reference an elevation view with a section marker.

Unless you could create your own section head maybe? I don't know. That's above my pay grade.

Yeah I thought of using a section as well, but we already have everything drawn and annotated in elevation views. Don't want to redo a bunch of work just so I can have a couple of live references.

Well you should be able to do a crosswindow selection, filter out all model categories leaving only annotation and detail components. Then hit Cntrl-C (or Copy to Clipboard).
Now in section view you should be able to Paste to Same Place and you should be fine...
