Phillip recently posted this new video at YouTube, showing off new features in v3 of the Family Browser. I don´t really know what to say... besides AWESOME tool Phillip !

When will it be available on KiwiCodes ?

It should be available this week. And let me say this:

Ive been testing v3 for a little while now, and its AMAZING. The subtle improvements it makes over the v2 device (which was amazing itself) are well justifable.

Am I able to start off with a single user and switch to site (just paying an additional $215) if I like it after testing well enough to incorperate it through the company?

IT has youtube blocked. How much is a single user?

On that note, does anyone buy add ons themselves? If I want any of this, I doubt my company will pay for it. Is it worth it if you have to fork over the money yourself (for those of you who aren't self employed)?

It is $35 for a user. I am not self employed, but I will probably get this for my self first.

How many users is your company? Tell them its stupid not to get it. Its cheap enough to afford for an entire company, and the time it saves us from wasting every day is insanely beneficial. It pays itself back in hours.

Plus: The configuration is networkable. it updates in real time. (I add a family to the library, its there the next time they click on the tab). Our implementation of v2 is on my blog. Our v3 one has added a lot of stuff, ill update the blog soon.

That looks really useful. I'm definitely going to get a single user license when v3 comes out. Does anyone know how many computers the single license supports? I have both a desktop and laptop that I use for my personal work at home.

Will definitely be recommending this to my office as well

My company is fair sized, the only reason I am reserved to get it for all is this...I really see the use for RAC and if I were still using RAC I would be all over it for my entire company, but now I am at a structural firm so I wanted to see how it was on the structural side since structures usually don't have nearly as many family types as Architects do...a few columns, beams, etc...but not furnature, tons of walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, specilty equipment...
