      i want doric column for aesthetic purposes in the design the office gave it to me supposed to be doric only.(i was wishing i can give instance parameter to height parameter but there is no height parameter)to stretch it manually.

        As engel said, the family probably isnt constrained correctly. This is one of the reasons i always make sure my content is built in house. Hit Edit family and go look...

            @engel_hg
            Did you made it or is it with library of revit architecture ?
            @Aaron
            how this will be wrong. i did not made column it is made by autodesk in its library. so it constrained prbably should be done by= autodesk we trust autodesk in this right !
            all i did i made the top level :level2 and it did not reach to level 2 as i input it.

              i just made it. as show just add height parameters to your doric family but make sure all the grove are lock to each other. just check my sample family.

                  i just asked myself ,is it better that we add height parameter to existing family but i hope anyone tell me how especially this family that come with library is a group of nested family :capital-pedistal-column body.
