curtain wall won't inbed

    curtain wall won't inbed

    2011
    when i select curtainwall and place it in 12" generic wall it seems t0 go in. i can highlight it ect. i chick inbed in properties. when i look in elevation or 3d it does not show. when i move it outside the wall it appears.

    My bad. First, of course it is embed, not inbed. Inbed is used with naughty humor. Far more important the wall I tried first is slightly curved (doesn't work) it works on straight walls.
    In my case I have a very tight site and must follow the existing building. Anyway to do that ???

    if you select the curtain wall system (dashed line with two end lines) and hit Edit Type in the Properties pane is Automatically Embed checked?
    I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

          no clue then. All of the OOTB curtain walls embed in walls here no problem

              Try using Cut Geometry. ( not automatic, I know.)

                Try cutting and pasting... what are your Phase settings? Is the GenWall pinned (don't know for sure if that matters)?
