Well yes,
but your ordinary Revit wall isn't actually made of blocks, with rebar, cement filling, and so on. So you'd need some serious custom family creation to make this work.
Well what I want to do isn't to the level of detail of that axo, I just want to show the assembly of our wall and have it strip away diagonally layer by layer...I think Parts are what I need, the only problem I'm running in to is that one of of the elements I want to cut is a curtain wall of horizontal wood slats.
Oui, I tried exporting the view to Design Review, then realized that I just want a cut through the rainscreen. I then isolated just the rainscreen element and exported it to Design Review and was able to make the cut that I wanted. However, the model is in color, not hidden line style, and I did not find any way to export it back into Revit.
Looks like I'm just going to have to export the view as a dwg and do all of my linework in CAD and import in as a drafting view.
I created a test model to better understand parts and how one can demo a finish on an existing stud wall without demoing the stud. Works great! If anyone...
how do you change the service type on the fabrication parts or add your own, all I see is 'ductwork 2500pa etc.' but seen you can have supply and return...
