    Joining Sweeps

    I have two walls with parapet caps that have the same profile family, but different types (one is 12" wide, one 5"). I want to join the two so that they smoothly blend together, but it seems as though I can only do so when the sweeps are the same family AND type.

    Are the two walls identical as well? ( same Type? ) and if so, are they Mitered at the corner with the Wall Join tool?

    It may also have something to do with the Origin of the Profile ( i.e. Face of Host Wall, etc.) and having the 5 " and 12" sweeps trying to clean up using the same
    origin. Try playing with 2 different Profiles with different origins?

        Yup, double check material applied, they must be the same.

          No, the walls are different but all of the materials are the same...the only difference is the thickness of the stud layer structure.

          I tried mitering using the wall join tool and it did not seem to have an effect.

            Sweep materials are both the same too.

              ok, got it...i had to go into a 3D view and join the individual sweeps, not just the walls they were on.
