I am modelling some pipework on a project and the main corridor has a slight change in angle (approx 2°). This is causing a problem for my pipe run as Revit doesn't seem to let the bend in the pipe fitting go below 5°. You can see from the attached image that the lowest angle revit will show and the actual angle of pipe I need.
Despite having created a new pipe fitting (using the standard as a starter) so that I am able to play around with angles without having to ruin the other bends in the project. After playing around with it within the family I created we are able to get the angle to anything down to 1° however when I insert the family into my project Revit somehow forces it to not go below 5°.
Has anyone come across this before? and if so how did they fix or workaround it? I hope my post makes sense.
Thanks in advance
