    Wall Section Referencing Other View

This may be default behavior. Can someone confirm this:
I created a wall section. Then, I created another one for the other walls that are constructed the same, and referenced the first section view.

On my second level, only the original one appears. Shouldn't the other's show up on all levels as well? Or, are the not showing up because it's referencing another view and there's now way to set the view range?

This is correct behavior. When you make a view reference it it view specific just as if you were doing text.

What I would generally do is just copy then paste same place or paste aligned level.

Well, that's good to know. Dumb, but good to know.

I think Revit should know that if you are referencing a section, for instance, that it should act like all the other sections. Although, I guess once you reference another view, it's a "dumb" section in that you can't edit view ranges and such. So I guess it sorta makes sense.

Just realized that since it's view specific, like text, you can copy and paste the section "aligned to the same position". And, it keeps the link correct. So, it's not so bad.
