I want to create an instance of an HSS6x3 hollow structural section and I can't figure out how to control the rotation of the section. I want it to be 6" horizontal and 3" vertical rather than the other way around.

What if you do the 1,2,3?
Edit type...
1) Duplicate
2) Rename
3) Invert the values of "b" and "h"
That's if you want another type. If you just wanted to rotate an instance:
Select the object > from the Properties window change the value of "Cross section rotation".Freelance BIM Provider at Autodesk Services Marketplace | Linkedin

When I cut a section at a certain level eg. @ Level 4, it doesn't appear and the warning comes out as attached.
