Revit 2021.1.1 - Topo Viewrange cutoff in plan View

This may be really simple but I cannot figure out why a Toposurface gets cut off at a certain height in a typical floor level plan View but you can see it all in a Site Plan View.

Creating a Plan Region works fine for roofs etc. but the Topo doesn't shift the level where it is cut off.

In the attached screenshot I have created a Plan Region (marked pink) to illustrate this on a single storey building adjacent to a slope. I've shown the View Range dialog but I've tried all sorts of values with no effect on the Topo within the Plan Region but you can see that part of the roof appears within the Plan Region as you might expect.

I did wonder if it was because the Plan Region did not enclose the entire Topo but expanding the Plan Region to include the entire Topo doesn't work either.

Any thoughts or comments on what I am doing wrong - or if it is 'just one of those things in Revit' - would be most welcome.

Can you try the opposite, set your cut plane where you want the topo cut, then do a plan region of the building?

Yes, that works, thanks very much Scott

If you use a plan View associated to a level well above the site.
