    what happened to my rep?

I had 3 green bars of rep attached to my avatar, now it's gone back to only 1, I've gone from 'revit coach' (?) back down to newbie 'talented' status. Granted I'm not a guru like a lot of you here but you know I lurk a lot too
might seem trivial to those with tons (tonnes?) of rep but it's a 66% reduction to me! /

have my rep givers bailed? have I been naughty? :wine:

edit : oh great, now I'm not even talented...just a 'member'

Have you read this post http://www.revitforum.org/showthread.php?p=33563 by Munkholm, explaining what's going on..

    Just pasted the post explaining:

Quite a few people have approached the admin team, with concerns about the current user titles. Reason being that any member can become a "Talented Revit Coach", just by posting a lot of clueless questions.

In the admin team, we've decided that it should be changed, so that post count no longer reflects any kind of Revit knowledge. Below is the suggested change, but we are open to other suggestions, as long as you keep the above reasoning in mind:

User Titles will be changed to:

    Lurker > 0 post
    New Member > 1 post
    Junior Member > 10 posts
    Member > 100 posts
    Senior Member > 500 posts
    Custom Title > 2000 posts

Rep. description will be changed to: (And is only visible while mouse over at the Green Cards)

    Talented > Default
    Valued > 50 points
    Outstanding > 100 points
    Exceptional > 250 points
    World-class > 500 points
    Superior > 1000 points
    Worshipped > 2000 points

It'll also be "harder" to earn the Green Cards... (Even Martijn will not have the max of 11 cards with the new calculation rules)

The calculations are based on these facts:

Default reputation power = 10 points
1 Green Card takes 100 points
Once you've reached 500 points, additional Green Cards takes 200 points

For every 180 days you've been a member, you'l gain 1 point of reputation power.
For every 500 number of posts, you'll gain 1 point of reputation power.
For every 500 points of reputation, you'll gain 1 point of reputation power.
(As an example, Martijns reputation power is now 16)

In my opinion, the titles could be anything else too... Just don't want them to reflect Revit experience... It should rather be based on the forum experience, and the value of the help given on the forum... Makes sense? Or clear as mud?

It's also important to point out, that even though your amount of "Green Cards" will be reduced, your current Rep. Points will be preserved - And that all these changes affects everyone the same.
