    Revit Linking Models

    Hello all,

I have a curious question about linking models in Revit. Does it matter if the linked model is a central file or not? What would change if the linked model is or isn't a central model?

    Thanks

If it is a Central model, though, you want to make sure you are linking the THE Central model.

Also, if you link a central model, you can work in a local copy without unloading the central model in the current model. Very useful if you hate getting warnings about unbounded elements, or want the context in your model while working in the link.
