    Can someone explain to me why can't the Revit Interference Check detect the obvious clash shown in the video below?

    Revit's interference check is quite limited compared to other programs

    I think the problem is that the wall of the damper is too small. Try to add a "bounding box" around the damper in the family editor.

      Revit's interference check ignores imported CAD geometry. At first glance, this family does not contain native geometry.
