Is this a known issue? When I embed a detail component into a profile, then use that in the project none of the fill patterns of the detail component show thru. Is there a fix for this?

Detail Components in Profiles Don't show Fill Pattern

Hi, Scott. I made a test, using 2018.3.3. This works correctly in a wall sweep that is part of the properties of a wall, or in a wall sweep that is placed on a wall, or in fascias or gutters. It might work in other sweeps, too. It does not work the same for model in-place sweeps But you could edit the model in-place and add the detail item family at the same workplane of the profile of the sweep. Also, you could add a material to the model in-place sweep.Freelance BIM Provider at Autodesk Services Marketplace | Linkedin
