    Revit cannot play nice

Has anyone noticed the new service pack 2 for 2012 won't allow Revit to play nice with several other programs?
I cannot have Acrobat or Excel open while Revit is, if Revit is open it will not allow those programs to open. If they are open Revit will not open.

Granted, I'm running 32 bit XP but has anyone else had this problem?

It'd be nice if my office didn't use 4 year old machines, eh?

same as Munk, I usually have two Revit sessions, Access, Excel, and Acrobat all open at one time and haven't had any problems. RAC 2012 SP2 on Win7 Pro
I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

It is also crashing on it's own a lot. I just had to switch to the lone machine in our office which runs 64bit Win7...we'll see how this goes.

I'm guessing this is a memory issue... 32bit is max 4gb (and 2gb for Revit). Having Revit, a bunch of services AND other software will make it crash even if your models are something like 50-70mb (which you reach quite fast)
