    Manufacturers providing Revit families

Just a thought should there be a seperate section for
"Manufacturers providing Revit families" in all three flavours
    Maybe a thread similar to

    http://revitforum.org/showthread.php...=2353#post2353

one that can be added to by all maybe?
    or added to by moderator

There is some good stuff starting to appear online ( and also some bad ) so may have to be rated, filtered or moderated (don't know how).

Just putting it out there ???

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is.

and, you would be volunteering to moderate, rate, and filter this new section?

with the ratio of good to bad family content being available in the 10%/90% range (IMO) it would be a full time job to sort out the crap
I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

      That would be easy:

"This forum only provides links to manufacturers that give out native Revit Families, and is in no way whatsoever liable for bad content, crashed projects and/or spontaneously setting your pc on fire. Feel free to use these links and the content provided by manufacturers but please refrain from harassing us with your petty problems due to the consequenses of your own actions. Please refrain from any physical molestation of coworkers, random people passing by and last but not least your boss or anyone else who can have a negative impact upon your future career. God bless free content and all bold enough to use it."

yeah, yeah, your both right, dumb idea.
I was in a euphoric state when I posted the Miele families thread as they ARE well made.
"ratio of good to bad family content being available in the 10%/90% " is almost conservative.
          Forget I spoke

But seriously, did like the Miele families though. As I stated in a different site: for interiors I use a lot off Manufacterers content (Coalesse, Visa Lighting, Hamilton, REED SmartBIM). As long as it's just for "the pretty picture", it's ok by me.

Yes another good one, also their metal roofing bump and texture maps are great for rendering with their complete colour range available.

just came across these lighting families. Only used one, and it seems to be okay.
