Different Wall Closures for different layers?

    Hello friends,

I've successfully wrapped the exterior layers of my Wall to the Reference Plane/Wall Closure created in my window family.

But notice how Layers 2 and 3 stop at the Wall Closure?

Is it possible to have these two layers extend past the wall closure, but leaving layer Finish 1 in place?
Here are a couple of screenshots I'm hoping to replicate:

Thank you for helping! Hopefully this can help more than one person

I don't think it is, because you have one choice in the wall about how it treats closures, not one choice per layer. Likewise, in the opening family you can define two wall closures, but they won't overlap, and you can't pick which layers stop there. Three part walls can solve the issue, but create more work. If you just need it correct in a detail you can modify the elements in the view. Are you currently using two closure planes in your window? You might be able to get it closer to what you want.

      Hi Julie,

To answer your question: No, I am currently only using one Wall Closure Reference Plane in the Family.

I assume my only solution is to move my wall Closure Line closer to the Interior Side of the wall, making my Insulation and Air Layer flush with my Metal Stud Layer, which would also bring in my Exterior finish inside...

You could bring your line closer, or have two lines, the join could still happen behind the frame, but you won't get gyp to wrap over the foam without modeling additional components/using multiple walls.
