rotate PROJECT north after entering boundary by using distances and bearings

    Hi all,
FIRST OFF THE TITLE SHOULD READ ROTATE PROJECT NORTH...SORRY
I have had a strange result after entering a simple rectangular site in True North oriented plan by using the distance and bearings method.
I successfully made the boundary. Therefore a true north plan established.
Then a test. I went to a project north aligned view, and tried rotating project north.
The result? project north moved across page a bit, did not rotate. Almost as if it moved around the clock 90 degrees still aspected the same way. Meanwhile back on the true north view, it had rotated.
And a test wall I had put within the site had been displaced.
This does not happen if I start in true north and use sketch to draw the boundaries. Then a rotate project north works simply and keeps the wall in place and aligned.
What would be the reason for this happening? Seems nonsensical.
    cheers:crazy:

Did you try rotating TN in the opposite direction, I get it wrong plenty of times. Remember you are rotating the site underneath, not the building itself.

No need to rotate TN as I created the boundary according to title bearing in TN. It is when I went to PN and tried to rotate PN that all this weird stuff happens. Give it a try just using the table I have shown below..Click image for larger version

I thought you'd fixed biff's problem until I realised it was the post's title that you'd fixed !

Thank you munkholm. And correct Kamran. Problem isn't fixed. I do find this strange as in a very logical workflow this would be one of the default steps to seeting a site up. Sketch boundaries to title in true north. Then rotate project north from there. Anyhoo, always a different way of doing something to find, isn't there.
