    Adjusting fitting angle

    Hi,

Does anyone know if there's a way to adjust fitting angles after you placed the fitting and connected the pipe/duct?
As for now, if I placed and connected a pipe/duct with a 45 degree angle and want to change that to a 60 degree angle, i disconnect the fitting/elbow and redo the "standard connection" with the new wanted angle. There must be a way to edit the angle without disconnect everything...?

    Thanks!

I usually let Revit create elbows. So, yeah, I would delete the elbow, adjust the pipe, and reconnect letting Revit create the elbow.

Can you not adjust the end of the pipe not connected to the elbow/fitting until it is at 60 degrees and then trim the now disconnected pipes back together?

Yeah, that's basically how I dot it as well. Just feel it must be an easier way?

That would work, provided that the pipe/duct is not connected to the fitting, right? In my case, I would like to be able to change the angle while it is already connected, instead of needing to disconnect the network first.

The left one is a 60 degree angle fitting, the right one is a 45. Would like to be able to just click the fitting while the network is connected and go from the 60 to 45 or vice versa without disconnecting first.

Can't be done that way. Revit needs to remake the fitting.
