    Dimension Text Leader

    This one has annoyed me for years.
    Does anyone know how to have dimension text leader turned OFF by default.

    is this what you mean by "text leader" ?

    I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

        Yeah, Dave thats the one, by default the check box is on,I would like to default to off.

          Hi Mark, just subscribed to this thread, hoping that a solution will surface at some point

            well, I don't know how to change the default to off but I'd also like to know how to do that as I turn them off one at a time here

              As far as I know this is one of those hardcoded things that cannot be changed...

                I can see the thinking of always having it ON by default, dimensions could get confusing very quickly if you had a number of them without leaders very close

                  Any way to change them from an arc leader into a two lined leader (like acad does it)? The arcs look funny to me.
