    Triple a gaming studios (what happened)

    So is anyone else disappointed with major game titles that came out in the last year?

    Nope. Games like Subnautica 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, God of War, Assassin's Creed. Good games all around. They even managed to make No Man's Sky not totally suck anymore

      My gaming PC is almost finally reconfigured and should be playable again after a year of just not caring to play. Hoping to get back to Star Citizen and seeing if I still have my spaceship that I was in when my PC crashed over a year ago...

        Imagine if somebody's computer crashed while playing Eve and they come back a year later to find their dinky little spaceship still orbiting some obscure little rock.

          I was under attack by someone and then I crashed due to bad memory. It wasn't my best ship thankfully...but would suck if I lost it. Checking the website it says I still have 10 ships though.

          Also I'm looking forward to Mechwarrior 5.

                    last year, like now back to May'18 (so inc. recent) or like "just" 2018?

                    Because FC5 game out Mar'18 (so applicable either way) and whilst it's a way off the wow of FC4, fresh-reboot-feel of FC3, or visual-amaze of Primal, it's fun. DLC promised, but meh.

                    Horizon 4 was spectacular - but not £75 spectacular - so I sacked it off when it fell off of free-access.

                    I didn't hear great things about RDR2 so avoided it.




                    Either way:

                    1. I had casual-gaming Quake Champions (2017) to prep.-ready me for another assault at Doom (2016) - unknowingly ahead of Eternal's release (later this year)
                    2. I had, and was trying to love the recent Wolfenstein's - but kept yearning for (and returning too) RTCW - cos' let's be fair, graphics aside, RTCW is still king.
                    &
                    3. Generally I am finding I don't need (want) triple-A anymore - I've not got the attention span (read: time) so gems like GRIS are where I feel, and want, my gaming to go.

                    Read: Looking forward to Sable.
