The microsoft installer cleanup utility may be able to clear it out. It has been discontinued and is no longer on the microsoft site so you would have to get it from a site like softpedia.

Thanks guys! I have already tried the steps mentioned in that link. When I try to run the script, I get the message that the product must be installed before it can be removed. I also went through the steps that was suggested in the "do it yourself" part of that thread.

I just can't understand how revit was uninstalled without me knowing it.

    Hi Max

There´s a link to a "clean uninstall" in this thread - Try that before reinstalling windows.

    Re-Install of Revit 2011

I am having problems re-installing Revit Arch 2011. I came in yesterday and tried to open revit, but the shortcut was dead. I tried to set up new shortcut, but that didn't work. I then went to the control panel and tried to uninstall revit, but got the message that it was already removed. I checked in program files and it was indeed gone. Now when I try to install, when it gets to the dialog where you choose what to install, everything is greyed out.

Is there any way to fix this, other than reinstalling windows? I have already cleaned out what I could find in the registry. I am using windows vista 32 bit.

    Thanks
