    Service pack 2 released

For those with Blog Posts turned off Service pack 2 has been relased. Can't see enhancment list yet

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is.

I had heard from multiple sources that the painted parameter driven material bug introduced in 2012 was to be fixed in WU2. Indeed, I think someone from the Factory actually said that specifically here. However, my first tests suggest this is still broken. Can someone else verify, just to be sure the problem isn't actually between the seat and keyboard?

    Thanks!

Note: Enhancement list will be updated within two business days of Update 2 being posted to include Update 2 improvements.

Wow, so why not just wait two days and do it all at once and not look like Autodesk still rides the short bus? Obviously the lesson learned from WU1 was not "Do it right" it was "Don't shag the hound THAT way again". So entertaining, as long as you aren't the hound. Wait a minute!!!

Ha! You're not alone... The Revit Clinic just made the same mistake

It seems that I can paint a material parameter inside the family editor yet it does not show up the painted material. I was also under the impression that this was going to be fixed.

How long did it take for y'all to install the Service Pack?
Yesterday, I started it, the progress bar went up to 100 (or maybe 99) percent, and then I canceled it after 20 minutes.
Today I started it up and left for lunch, so I don't know how long it took. Was the first one a fluke, or does it really run for a half an hour?
