    hi
i know that there was some difference with old versions (2010 and olders) but with the new Revit which include Arch/Structure/MEP i don't see (on the screen) any difference...

Hello Phil!! the difference between templates AFAIK are mostly related to visibility graphics and OOTB setups and pre loaded content, I mean if you are working in a MEP template you will see most of the ARCH components in shades of gray or transparent but you can change the most part of those set ups to match your company standards, if the template is for civil purposes the most part of the objects will be transparent or in shades of gray as well, if you don't see any difference when looking at the scree is because probably you aren't drawing yet! , HTH

Use the MEP template if working with piping...it has a lot of piping types preloaded to get you on your way. It is a pain in the ... to get them loaded in an arch project.

Yup, use the MEP template or get your management to hire Aaron to get you a great template.
