Somebody in the Autodesk forums posted an example of a project's issue sheet. I am posting that example here for illustration purposes.

I remember that conversation in Augi. I think Revit does not have a tool for doing an issue sheet like this, at least not one that is "smart" and not just manual. One could do a series of yes/no instance project parameters that apply to sheets, name them as per the issue dates, but then, from that point on, the schedule has to be filled in and maintained manually, entering a yes or no (with check marks) in each cell of the matrix.

I ended up going with Shared parameters tied into Labels and linked to the Sheets properties pallet. I made three labels for 5 different sheet issue "DATES" (an avarage of how many we could require in the office) These will then only show up on the title block once it is entered in the sheet properties. This way you can do multiple sheets at a time.
For review we will stick to using the given Revit issue/revision interface with the revision bubles and tags. ( This works rather well- cant we get one for sheet issue to that works similar- Or atleast cant we find a way to filter a revision schedule this will be an easy fix then)

One question that I do have now. How would one show only the latest "Sheet issue date" and number in the Drawinglist Schedule. Like with the Revisions that only gives you the latest on that sheet in the schedule.
Is there a way to maipulate the schedule to do that. (Right now all the shared parameters show which is not prefered and makes the list to wide)

Thank you again Alfredo for the feedback. I do agree that this is bordering on to Office standards as well an I at least got the managers for standards attention now to get there side sorted aswell so we can move forward.

Really, really low tech, but: right click on the columns you don't want to show and select Hide Columns? This only works when you Issue complete sets of drawings though...

There is a "Current Revision Issued" parameter available to schedules/labels which is a "Yes/No" parameter... you can show the latest revision in a schedule and then include an extra column next to it which says whether it is issued or not (i.e. still in progress)... unfortunately i haven't found a way to use this parameter in a formula to selectively show the "previous" revision if the current revision is not issued yet

We found this. My question is say the "current revision" on a sheet is #6. But I want to create a schedule that only shows Sheets revised in revision #4. Does anyone know a simple way around this.
