Using family type parameters in visibility parameter formula

Hey everyone,
I was wondering is it is possible to use a family type parameter in a formula for another parameter.
For example:
Family type parameter name = Type box 1
Visibility parameter name = Hide box

Formula visibility parameter Hide box = Type box 1 = box 1

Can someone please help me.

Nope, that won't work. What might work is including an empty family to select in the family types parameter, if that family contains the same linked instance parameters.

There must be a better way...
