Missing component placement

Hi there.
I'm following this Revit 2016 course on Udemy and I noticed a difference between that version and mine, from 2018. However, this may not be the cause of it at all.
When I'm trying to place a component (in this case a light) I don't have the Component Placement options visible (i.e. Place on a Face), unlike in the course:

Any thoughts of what may have caused it?

The component you want to place, has to be a face based component, otherwise you don't get those options.
