    Element too small on screen

Is there absolutely no way to turn this off? I have read this can be fixed by zooming in but this has proven untrue, no matter how much I zoom and how big the movement is on the screen it makes no difference. Sometimes you want a difference of fractions of an inch that won't necessarily appear on the screen, i.e. for a schedule. This is one of those instances where Revit is programmed to think it knows what you want better than you do, and it is frustrating. At the very least you should be able to turn this off.

I have another question -- is there any way to turn off 3D snapping when dragging the ends of elements via grips (specifically structural framing.) You can drag a beam end to a column for instance and the beam will skew up into the sky if it seemingly arbitrarily chooses something to snap to. This should not be the default behavior, even with disallow join set it does not help with the snapping. Trim/extend can help avoid this but if the element is not moving orthogonally (i.e. with a brace) this doesn't work either and I have to instead draw a line (or use a work plane etc) and snap to it.

I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

If anyone has an answer to the second part of my question (quoted above) also I would appreciate it, thanks.

Not sure if Structural is different, but generally, typing SO turns Snapping Off

As long as this allows for lines under that small distance too...I will be happy. I know for most things it is no big deal...but it is noticeable with details at 3" and finer. I would love to remove all DWG Detail components completely.
