I'm very green to Revit, I'm hoping this is an easy issue to resolve. I am using a Howe Flat Truss family for my prefabricated roof truss. I've added an overhang parameter in the family. I set it to 3'-0", when I attach the top chord to the roof it removes the overhang. I'm a bit confused why Revit is removing the overhang after I attach it to the roof. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Revitforum.
The issue is not quite clear. I see an overhang in the truss.Attached FilesFreelance BIM Provider at Autodesk Services Marketplace | Linkedin

I see. In that case, maybe you could:
1) Drag the width of the truss outwards to cover the overhang.
2) Drag the end of the bottom chord inwards.Attached FilesFreelance BIM Provider at Autodesk Services Marketplace | Linkedin
