I am exporting a Revit drawing that contains a raster image to dwg format. When the dwg is opened in AutoCAD, the raster image is rotated or not there at all. I can't select it in AutoCAD to move it into the correct position. Is there anyway to prevent this from happening when exporting a Revit file?

I can't explain why it rotated upon export, but if I remember my command line correctly, there's a SETVAR name IMAGEFRAME that determines if you can select an image and/or it's outline. Don't remember which setting does which, but its either 0, 1, or 2Dave Plumb

Aren't raster images exported as external elements when exporting DWGs from Revit? If you send those along with the DWG, the user should be able to reinsert them if they need to.Comment

Insert the image in an annotation symbol then into the project. That way you can resize at the family level before placing. Seem to fix the resize/rotating issues.Michael "MP" Patrick (Deceased - R.I.P)Comment
