Importing dwg from vectorworks 2018

Are DWG files (produced using Vectorworks 2018) easily imported into Revit Version pre 2005?

First off, welcome to the forum Tania! :thumbsup:

Second... er, pre-2005 of... Vectorworks OR Revit? Because it's 2018 you know... ; )

Regardless; a .dwg can come in*, without out much issue, into Revit, whatever it's age (so long as it earlier/aligned) so you shouldn't have an issue - but how it turns out is another story altogether.

Are we talking 2D or 3D here?

*be mindful that "imported" is a big no-no, you want to be linking...

Not so Short 3D conundrum (DWG Extents)

We had some issues recently with a DWG link being WAY WAY WAY too big (317.4 MILES!!!) We open the dwg file and go about trying to wrangle in the extents...
