    External cladding - ie Kingspan

    Hi all,

this is my first post so you will appreciate i am fairly new to Revit.

I am looking to model some external cladding, the cladding will consist of a liner sheet internally and a ribbed horizontal profile externally.

There are sections where windows are needed.

Can anyone advise on the best way to do this, i have seen loads of various threads and videos from curtain walling to sweeps etc.

I do not need any scheduling features.

    any pointers much appreciated

do a search here for "corrugated panels". There have been several threads with several methods of doing what you need to do. I use a curtain wall mullion profile and set up a curtain wall type with mullion spacing to equal the panel shape centers. The resultant curtain wall can be profile edited to create holes for doors or windows.
I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

I just use a regular wall with a hatch pattern that matches the rib config of the panel and a material(render asset) that matches the panel. No need for the 3d shape in my opinion.Click image for larger version
