    Generic Annotation family changed size

We've got a project that's been worked on for months.
Today, suddenly, all of the Generic Annotation families that had been placed somehow shrunk.
Any new families placed are the correct size, but on any of them that were placed before today, the lines are about half as big as they should be.
The Text is the same size, but the lines around it look like they have been scaled.
Selecting an existing note and doing a Create Similar places a correctly sized version. That's how the one of the right in the screen shot was made.
The one one the left (highlighted) is the wrong one. It looked fine yesterday.

There are no "Length" parameters in this family.
Any idea how this could have happened? Or how to fix it?

Deja vu moment...but I can't figure out why. I swear I read about this yesterday somewhere. Is it happening in every view or just this one? Did the view scale get changed and changed back? Sounds like a view regen "bug"?

Nope. No change of scale, and it's happening on 3 different machines.
Just one View. The same family in a different View is OK.
I ended up editing the family, making a non-change (move 1" right, then 1" left) and reloading the family into the project.
That seems to have fixed it (for now?) but it makes me nervous.

Can't rule out a scale change unless you're the only one working on the file though? A view template change or assignment could accidentally change scale. A scale change would affect the size of the tag (all tags tho'), weird that just one is affected. One view suggests corruption. It also make me suspicious of the family. Revit seems to complain about constraints in families that are upgraded to 2018+ in a way that it never did in the past. For example, use Save Library and see how many errors pop about constraints during the process.

This seems familiar like I have seen it happen on files a long time ago. Is there perhaps a machine in the project that has a different update for the version of Revit you are working in?

This is the only project in the office that we're running in BIM 360, so we've got everyone on 2018.3
